5'11" Channel Islands "The Biscuit"

Sale! Now only $599, was $765 for this Epoxy 5'11" C.I. "The Biscuit" surfboard. A short and stubby tri-fin: the biscuit design was developed with Rob Machado. Like Rob, the Biscuit rides free and easy in the smallest surf and catches waves like boards a foot longer. Order your biscuit 8” shorter, 1” to 2” wider and ½ to ¾” thicker than your shortboard. “…foam is your friend…don’t be scared of it. A little bit of extra foam here and there is good for the soul… and your surfing.” - Rob Also available in tuflite Epoxy construction for 2010. Dimensions: 5’11” x 20 ½” x 2 7/8”

6'2" Channel Islands The Pod Quad

THE POD :: 6’2” x 20 ¾” x 2 5/8” Swallowtail Quad Fin Set-Up

MODEL DESCRIPTION The Pod, an inspiration in Kelly’s for new surfboards and design direction, is built to fly. Deep concaves with a foiled nose and a swallow tail keep the Pod lively and maintains its high performance. The “snub” nose puts volume forward, allowing for maximum planing and wave catching. The wide, curvy outline makes the Pod friendly for all levels of surfers. Ride this board 6” to 8” shorter, about 1 1/2” wider and about 1/8” thicker.

FEEDBACK Punts, turns, you can do it all. A summer favorite.

DESIGNED FOR Novice to expert surfers for knee high to slightly overhead waves.

6'2" Channel Islands Whip

THE WHIP :: 6'2" x 19 1/2" x 2 1/4" Fishtail Thruster

MODEL DESCRIPTION : In landlocked neighborhoods a man’s “whip” is his customized ride, his prized mode of transportation. During the Europe leg in 2009, Kelly’s “Whip” for less than perfect surf was his 5’9” x 18 5/8” x 2’5/16” – one inch shorter than what he won Snapper and Bells on in 2008. This is Kelly and Al’s re-worked version of the Flyer, with a few secret changes. This board is faster and more forgiving. If you’re looking for a board that excels when your shortboard seems to bog, this is the board for you.

FEEDBACK : should be ridden 3-4 inches smaller than your shortboard, 1/4" wider and the same thickness.

DESIGNED FOR : everyday use by intermediate to expert surfers in knee to head high surf.

6'3" Channel Islands Flyer

THE FLYER :: 6'3" x 19 3/4" x 2 1/2" Squash-tail Thruster

MODEL DESCRIPTION A worldwide favorite, this design excels in small to medium surf but still rides and responds like a conventional shortboard. Al considers this the best small wave shortboard he has ever designed. It should be ridden 2” to 3” shorter and 1/4” to 1/2” wider than your normal shortboard.

FEEDBACK This year Tanner won his first WQS event on his 21st birthday on a 5’11 flyer.

DESIGNED FOR Small to medium surf for all levels of surfers from beginner to expert.

6'4" Channel Islands Fort Knox

THE FORT KNOX :: 6'4" x 19 1/8" x 2 7/16" Round Pin Thruster

MODEL DESCRIPTION The Fort Knox is the redesigned T-Knox model. Taylor describes this board as “the fastest board I have ever ridden”. The Fort Knox allows the surfer to hold a rail for a long time and do long arcing turns. This board is flat under your front foot, has straighter rocker out the back, and set within the vee are dual concaves. This keeps the water pressed between the fins, giving it an enormous amount of thrust out of turns. Think Taylor, think Fort Knox.

Feedback : an incredibly fast and drivey all around shortboard.

Designed For : intermediate to expert surfers in waist high to double overhead waves.

6'4" Channel Islands Rookie

THE ROOKIE :: 6'4" x 19 1/8" x 2 3/8" Rounded squash thruster with Future Fins set-up

MODEL DESCRIPTION Like the Proton for Dane, the Rookie is designed around state-of-the-art surfing by a powerful surfer and has a full rail with a curvy outline. All three Gudauskas brothers, not small in stature, have found this board suits the varying conditions and waves on the WQS. Lower entry rocker and more tail flip out the back than the MBM+ and Proton, the Rookie is powered by single concave throughout.

Key note: remember this board hides a lot of volume so buy 1/8” thinner and 1” possibly shorter.

Feedback : a great all around shortboard from the flat walls of Bells to the round beach breaks of France.

Designed For : intermediate to expert surfers for waist to double over head surf.
