A flatter entry rocker maximizes paddle power and helps the board glide into waves early, while a teardrop concave in the nose creates added lift for noseriding and reduces swing weight through turns. The gentle hull bottom provides a smooth, connected feeling through the water and helps generate effortless high-line speed.
Downturned rails and a harder edge add another level of control and performance, allowing the board to transition smoothly from its flowing hull characteristics onto a more engaged rail when carving.
