What is your Return Policy?
We want you to feel confident every time you shop with us. If something’s not right, we’ll do our best to make it right. We accept returns and exchanges on most items within 30 days of delivery.
To be eligible:
- Items must be new and unused.
- Returned with original tags, packaging, and all included accessories.
- Original product packaging must be returned undamaged (please ship it inside another box).
Items not returned in new condition may be declined or subject to a restocking fee.
Shipping:
Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility unless the return is due to our error. Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
Processing:
Returns are typically processed within 3 business days of receiving your item.
Final Sale Items:
- Used items are not eligible for return.
- Sale items may be final sale (see product page for details).
Lessons, Rentals & Tours
All bookings must be paid in full at the time of reservation. Cancellations made at least 24 hours in advance are eligible for a full refund. If weather conditions are unsafe, we’ll offer an alternative activity or store credit.
How do you ship your surfboards?
Surfboard, SUPs, Paddles, Sand Dollys, or Towsleds are NOT included in our free shipping offer. If you purchase a one of these items online we will contact and supply you with a new shipping quote and also to take your payment information, if shipping is too much we will happily refund your online purchase. Please ensure that you use a working Email and Phone number when creating your account so that we may be able to reach you. Orders will go unprocessed until you have been reached when shipping charges differ from your checkout total, if you feel you may have supplied incorrect information please call: (541) 574-4634.
We ship surfboards under 7ft. via Greyhound, over 7ft via Amtrak. All surfboards shipped are insured for the cost of the board (shipping cost is not insured). When the surfboard arrives at it’s destination the customer will receive a call from Greyhound or Amtrak to come and pick up the board. We find that this is the most economical way to send a surfboard. If you require faster delivery we will be happy to use Fedex, UPS or any other carrier as long as you pay for the additional shipping costs. Shipping quotes are also available upon request.
How do lessons work?
A typical lesson works like this: You show up at the shop and get your wetsuit, boots, gloves & surfboard. All rentals are for 24 hrs. You meet your instructor for a 2 hour lesson. After the lesson is finished you still have your surfing equipment for another 22 hours, allowing you plenty of time to continue practicing the skills you learned. Any scheduled lessons or tours must be paid in full at the time of the reservation and may be cancelled with a full refund BEFORE 24 hours ahead of the scheduled time. If weather prevents lesson from being safe, alternate activities or store credit will be offered.
How do rentals work?
You must be over 18 years old to rent equipment or have a parents signature. Signing our waiver, a credit card deposit and proof of ID are also required to rent. Download Rental form here: Online Rental Waiver or Print Rental Waiver
Can you explain your Surf School?
Once you are signed up/paid for surf school it is up to you to arrive at Ossies Surf Shop in Agate beach at 10am on each day of surf school. Your surf school payment is for one person, we are flexible about changing individual students, for instance; Dad does surf school day one, son does it day two and mom participates day three, all for just $99! If the weather conditions in the ocean are not SAFE on a day of Surf School we will take the surf school to a nearby lake for Stand Up Paddle surfing and Kayaking. Any scheduled lessons or tours must be paid in full at the time of the reservation and may be cancelled with a full refund BEFORE 24 hours ahead of the scheduled time. If weather prevents lesson from being safe, alternate activities or store credit will be offered.
Is Ossies Surf shop hiring?
Ossies Surf Shop is always looking for honest, positive, motivated, reliable, self directed individuals to join our team. Preferred skills include surfing knowledge/experience or desire to learn, sales experience, retail experience, computer & people skills.
